Louise Richardson (Physiotherapist, Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner)

Louise is an experienced Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist and Accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner with over 10 years experience in both public and private settings.

Louise has worked in St George Hospital and private practices within the Sutherland Shire. She treats all musculoskeletal injuries and incorporates numerous different techniques in her treatments, which may include the McKenzie method, muscle energy techniques, soft tissue releases, joint mobilisation, education and targeted exercise prescription to achieve the most effective and durable outcomes.

She is passionate about assisting a broad range of patients return to a full and able lifestyle without limitations. She has a wholistic approach and enjoys working closely with her patients to ensure they achieve their treatment goals.

Louise is accredited with the Australasian Lymphoedema Association as a Lymphoedema Practitioner. She is able to assess, treat and provide the long term management of people with lymphoedema. This may include manual lymphatic drainage massage (MLD), pneumatic pressure pump, compression bandaging and measuring for custom made compression garments.

Louise is also able to assess and manage dizziness / vertigo / vestibular dysfunction.
